Sarah Palin's Anti-Semitic Preacher

This is Sarah Palin's Reverand Wright moment: she sat in church two weeks ago while her preacher, Larry Kroon, invited a guest - David Brickner, the founder of Jews for Jesus - to spew anti-semitic hatred.

Here's what Brickner said:

Brickner also described terrorist attacks on Israelis as God's "judgment of unbelief" of Jews who haven't embraced Christianity.

"Judgment is very real and we see it played out on the pages of the newspapers and on the television. It's very real. When [Brickner's son] was in Jerusalem he was there to witness some of that judgment, some of that conflict, when a Palestinian from East Jerusalem took a bulldozer and went plowing through a score of cars, killing numbers of people. Judgment — you can't miss it."

Will she disown Brickner? And what about Kroon? Read the entire thing here.

And since we're in the mood to talk about "over scrutinizing" Sarah, let's compare Palin's situation with Brickner to Obama and Reverend Wright. Israel Matzav writes that he finds the Wright situation more offensive to Jews.

Really?

The case with Wright: he was friends with Louis Farakan, who it is fair to say has views about as anti-semitic as Brickner.

But Farakan never spoke to Obama's church while Obama was there. He certainly didn't do it two weeks before he received the nomination. And Wright didn't take up a collection plate for Farakan.

So let's review. Palin's situation would be equivalent to Obama's if:

Two weeks before Obama received the nomination, he sat in church with Reverend Wright while Wright invited Farakan to give anti-Jewish rants. And this was not the first but the SECOND time Obama had attended a Farakan sermon. And after the sermon, Wright had sent around a collection for Farakan.

That's essentially what Palin did with Brickner. Two weeks ago. At least from the Jewish perspective, SHOULDN'T THIS BE BIGGER NEWS THAN REVEREND WRIGHT?

Update: it's not just that she sat through the equivalent of two Farakan anti-Jewish sermons. As it turns out now, her former pastor, Kalnins, sounds at least as un-hinged about 9/11 as Jeremiah Wright. So Palin is essentially doubling-down on out-Wrighting Obama on this one.

More news: ex-New York City Mayor Koch has endorsed Obama, calling Palin "scary." This is important because...Koch campaigned for Bush in 2004, and has a lot of influence over Jewish voters in Florida (who are primarily from NY/NJ). I have said since this the scary Palin church story came out that Palin is going to swing Florida into the Obama column and cost McCain the election. Right now in Florida Obama is polling neck-and-neck with McCain, after Florida having been a strong McCain leaner before the GOP convention. There are 750,000 Jewish voters in Florida. About 25% of Jewish voters voted for Bush in 2004, and 20% in 2000. As more and more info about Palin's church comes out - and as Jews digest the Republican "culture war" strategy - Jewish voters will follow Koch's lead and switch to support Obama. If Palin swings just 10% of the Jewish vote in Florida from McCain to Obama, my sense is Obama wins the election (even if he loses Ohio and one of Michigan or Pennsylvania).

She reminds me of some Chrisitian Dominionists that I have worked with...They don't consider themselves "anti-semitic" because they are trying to help Jews find Jesus.

Does Palin or any functional human who can cogitate, understand that first of all, the Jesus figure is based on myth, cannot be proved by one shred of scientific, archeological evidence and even if he existed in some historical sense as a messianic Judaean, he was first and foremost, A JEW! A Jew - get it? Apparently millions of ensorcelled Christians still do NOT get it. The Gospels were an erratic collection of rantings and slogans created and edited by nebulous individuals UNDER Roman rule and over hundreds of years, were finally approved with their anti-Jewish spin by around 330AD. Christianity's singular claim of proof for the existence of Jesus relies on one singular, discredited account by the Judean, Flavian Josephus, a Roman sycophant, who's alleged references to Jesus in Antiquities of the Jews (all based on heresay), were literally fabricated or distorted in 340 AD by Bishop Eusebius,a Christian zealot who would do anything to validate the fallacious existence of a messianic Christ figure to solidify and mobilize his church followers and gain power. Is that all they have?
That said, Palin is just another example of the inexorable propagation of the lies and slander spilling from the Roman designed New testament and its Gospels which have served to do nothing but condemn and bring centuries of brutal terror and oppression upon the Jewish community of this planet. If Jesus DID exist, in any form or shape (and it would certainly NOT be an blond anglo) he would vehemently renounce the Church and all its policies of lies and hypocrisy and furthermore would condemn what both the Christian church and Islam has done to his people - the Jews. Its time we break the shackles of primitive proto neanderthalic superstition and mental deficiency, - break off the domination of the hypothalamus and Limbic system and somehow grasp for the reality of true evolved intellect. Will it ever happen, will the human species ever wake up out of their hypnotic state of delusionary self importance and perceive the external world, time and space as it really is? Probably not. As Carl Sagan once said, "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" and said that as long as humans exist in a "demon haunted world" they will be doomed to extinction. Lets all grow up, OK.
Good night and good luck to my fellow members of the the primate order and class Mammalia. DNA has played a little trick to create human mind but it didn't mean it was cart blanch ticket to kill.

You can put lipstick on a piggy but the piggy is still a piggy.
McCain found her because his daughter, Meghan McCain, did a photo shoot on ms. congeniality for people magazine two years ago (and by the way the 15 yr old promiscuous daughter looks pregnant in the photos). And McCain's daughter said Sarah said: tell daddy to "Pick Me" Pick Me."

Jews for Jesus are not really Jews. They just want to change us to them, Chrisitians. We are not. I can not vote for a women who goes to a church like that and then covers it up.
